An OS X Virtual Machine uses a virtualized Graphics Adapter with 128 MB VRAM (if VMware Tools are installed, 3 MB otherwise) so since it doesn't meet the minimum system requirements for the game you will not be able to play it in a Virtual Machine! 
Play it on the Host.
